Matt Herskowitz Trio; “Forget Me Not – Homage to Lew Soloff” (2005/2017)
[This] was to be our first album as a trio and, to our delight, Lew agreed to play on it. When we began rehearsing for the recording in 2004, it was Lew’s unhinged creativity that inspired us to expand the structure of some of the pieces; we had to make space for him to stretch out and let his ingenuity run wild.

Othello (2009)
The work is set to a highly textured commissioned score by composer David Rozenblatt. If it must be categorized, you could call it jazz, but it contains all the peculiar variety and rich strangeness of music in a dream. This music feels inseparable from the hard-edged, super-stylish sets and lighting by Michael Korsch and the brilliant, glittering, barely-there costuming by Christine Darch. Visually and aurally, this is a world complete.

Three Point Turn (2012)
Originally composed for Prima Ballerina Diana Vishneva, Desmond Richardson and members of The Mariinsky Ballet (f.k.a. The Kirov Ballet) premiering at New York City Center, The Orange County Performing Arts Center and the Stanislavsky Musical Theater in Moscow. Three Point Turn is part of the highly acclaimed Dance spectacle “Beauty In Motion” for which the ballet won three Golden Mask Awards including "Best Female Performer in Ballet or Modern Dance".
